President's Welcome
As we approach the year end it is interesting to see how each of our teams are performing.

The Senior team are presently fourth in the AIB League Division 1A with a game in hand having recently exited the AIB Cup at the semi final stage.

The Junior 1’s are also in fourth place in the Munster AIL Clubs 2nds league, they have however three games in hand having had a lot of postponements in November.

In the Junior 2 league, Dolphin are leading Section D with six wins from seven games, their final game is at home to 2nd place Cobh Pirates.

It’s the first time in many years that Dolphin havce fielded a Junior 3 side and they are going third in their Section.

The U/21’s are in Division 1 of the South Western Conference for the first time and are in third place.

The U/17’s are holding their own in the league, the U/15’s are a very young side and more from them is expected next season.

The U/13 and Minis have had a very weather interrupted season, hopefully they will see more action in the New Year.

On the representative front, Tomás O’Leary has recovered very well from his horrific ankle injury, congratulations are also due to Declan Kidney, IRB Coach of the Year 2009.

On the social side we are looking forward to the Dinner Dance on 9th January, marking Dolphins unique involvement with both the 1948 + 2009 Grand Slam sides. The three Dolphin players, Bertie O’Hanlon, Jim McCarthy and Tomás O’Leary will attend along with Declan Kidney.
