Narrow Senior Cup Victory
It was unusual from the outset, a Senior Cup game on the back pitch at Musgrave Park with Sunday’s Well playing Waterpark on the adjoining pitch in another Senior Cup tie.

With just 8 minutes allowed, Dolphin & Sunday’s Well served up an entertaining half time interval performance when a try from Cameron O’Shaughnessy levelled the game.

As James Coughlan led out the Munster side v Viadana he was cheered out by the Dolphin U/10 side who waited outside the dressing rooms to see the first Dolphin man to captain Munster since Terry Kingston.

James Coughlan is to captain Munster for the first time in the friendly against Viadana on Friday night. He will not be the only Dolphin players on view on Friday as the Dolphin U/10’s play Sunday’s Well at half time of this game.

Gerald Reidy and Jim Casey have agreed to continue to act as club Trustees and have been joined by the newly elected Maurice Coholan, Ronnie Moore and Paddy Clery in bringing the number up to five.
